"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Last evening  I replaced my LGB 2085D mallet with my PIKO BR 24 2-6-0 loco and six-wheel tender. This engine came digital ready with only switchable LED lighting front and rear and a switchable smoke unit. The boiler has a plethora of appliance details and the stainless steel driver rims are about 1.75" in diameter. A very  smooth runner with a PIKO Fahrreglar (throttle) and a regulated 22 volt DC power supply. I will post some photos this evening when I am back home from my dialysis treatment.

From the lack of response to this thread, I guess most G gaugers here are into US prototypes rather than European or German models and that is OK! The PIKO BR 24 is an appealing, nicely proportioned loco with handsome large drive wheels and a joy to behold pulling three OBB (Austrian) LGB 3062 coaches and an LGB 3019 postal/baggage van on the rear! I started in LGB with the European models and was hooked. All my LGB locos are Austrian, German or Swiss!
