Came in the "mail"? What is this "mail" you refer to?
I thought all this Premium Membership" stuff was handled ON LINE.
Look at the blue Menu bar above the forum body, I have a "Premium Membership" button, see if you do and them click on it
Mike, look to the left of your picture at the very top....UPGRADE!
Perhaps it was one of those new "electronic dogs" that ate it.
I've heard that a poor excuse is better than none.

When all else fails. Try a phone call.
Mike
You sure you're not having a senior moment? I have those all the time lately.

Geez Guys,
Give me a break here, it came in the mail last week, my wife put it out for me but must have thrown it out only one day later!
While I understand that it might not be available anyway else than online but since I am able to be more supportive now of OGR outstanding efforts, I figured I wouldn't have to register online. Is this a strict rule?
I want to congratulate and thank Rich Melvin and his staff for making it very easy for us to communicate with each other for free!
PS. I was one of those guys who tried anything including the excuse of "my dog ate it" but I haven't heard that one in years since Catholic School!
Probably been around 50 years since then!

I've got to ask: How did you get the first application? Why can't you just do that again?
Also, is there any particular reason you can't do it online?
Dear Matt,
The reason that I choose not to do it online is because with all the scams and phishing that occurs online I don't want to be exposed and have taken the opportunity to limit my online presence. I realize that this maybe paranoid but at least it's not as paranoid as people stocking up for the appocalypse!
I wonder if it's possible to pay by check anymore?

Wouldn't phoning them, talking to a LIVE person (Rich's wife, no less), and giving them your credit card information THAT way, be acceptable? That's probably safer than giving your credit card to the server in a restaurant.
Mike,
Call the OGR office ,I'm sure someone with set you up. Premium is a great deal in my opinion.
Brad
Thanks Guys!
Guys,
I just called Mrs. Melvin, she said that I could set it up by Ipad. That's the way I'll go.
I then complimented her on the excellent job her husband Rich and his staff were doing and that I had never been quite so impressed.
GO OGR! keep up the good work!
Mike Maurice
Based on a postal worker friend of mine online is much safer. And with a credit card you have protection not available on a check or debit card.
I'm glad OGR was able to help you out!
---Greg
Thanks Greg!
From the title, I thought this was one of Scott's posts.
I used to have similar issues with my wife, until one of her girlfriends poinded out that SHE was lucky, having a husband that was "involved with trains & railroading, both as a business AND a hobby.". My wife inquired as to why the other girl felt THAT way? The other one responded, "At least YOU know what your husband is doing and where he is. With MINE, I never really know whether he is playing golf, drinking in some bar, or trying to pick up another woman!".
We've been married 47 years and she has not brought up my obsession with steam locomotives, trains, nor model railroading since.

Me thinks that you are married to a very wise woman, Jack.
Some folks have the need to be recognized.
I do not know whether it was my wife or me, but I was drying a Hudson boiler in the sun on top of a pile of recycling. Have not seen it since. It was a very nice boiler, with extra detail.
I'm sorry folks. I don't know if it's because I'm relatively new here (6 months) or maybe not as "into" the hobby as some of you. But I just don't get this thread at all.
