I have been running my small side project S gauge loop with my Legacy Heritage engine with no problems for the last 3 weeks. Yesterday 2 things changed and I seem to be having signal problems now. 1st I installed a girder bridge with a metal base under the AF Fastrack. I don't really think this is the problem but.. The other thing is we just put a new router for the house WiFi that is suppose give us a stronger signal for the devises we use the WiFi for. Any ideas? Thanks guy's.

Did you try changing channels on the Legacy system? That will help if your router is causing the issue. You can also configure the router's channel, and also cut down the channel bandwidth on the router from 40mhz to 20mhz in the advanced wireless settings.
The quick test is to turn off the router when convenient and test the layout. If it works fine, turn router back on. If it stops working, it is the router. You can try some of John's recommendations. G
The Bridge would only cause issues on the bridge itself, unless that's the issue, forget that part. If is is the problem, Ground the metal in it.
Thanks Guy's I'll try both when I get home. I'm suspecting the new router has something to do with it.
What engine number is it. If it is an early one, open and reseat the board. Before doing that, does it run fine in conventional.
Marty. It's a new American Flyer ES44AC with Legacy I got York week.
Use channel 5,7 or 9 on the Legacy base. I prefer 9.
