I I have been spending the last 3 days in Macungie Pennsylvania at the 50th annual ATCA National Truck Show and yesterday I decided to go visit my good freind Ken Briers a former Penn Central and Conrail retired locomotive engineer and owner of a 1950 Ford F1 painted in PRR colors and signage. We chatted awhile and he said “ oh I have this box for you take it back to your camper when you leave” ....when I opened it I could not believe what was in it !!!

Wow! What a beautiful gift!
That's awesome Bob!
The truck and the 5344 are superb. What I especially like is that both are "Made in U.S. of America."

Wow Bob,
Can I be Ken's friend too??
That Hudson looks like a beauty. Enjoy!
The keys for the truck would have been nice too 😏
Now THAT'S what I call a buddy!
Congratulations! Indeed that is a wonderful gift from a friend. I hope you called him up and thanked profusely and invite him out to dinner.

My wife and I took him and his wife out to a pretty nice place for dinner last night...it was the least I could do.
Does your friend need more friends! Nice gift!
Bob you forgot to post a photo of the F1 in PRR colors!
Bob, thats wonderful! How was the turnout at the show? My grandfather and I used to always go... is the Mack plant still open for tours?
You can see a photo of Ken's 1950 F-1 Ford Tuscan red truck which was on display at the PRR Railroad Museum via your favorite search engine. Almost looks like a PRR in house product. Very professionally done.
Sorry, not allowed to insert the photo.
