From the Sn Beattadaise Union Monitor, January 8: "Early this morning billboard advertisements appeared on the roads leading out of town and in City Square for what has been called an amazing new product - Simple Green. Company spokesman C. A. Ustic told this reporter that Simple Green is a space-age cleaning fluid that is incredibly powerful and "Cleans in ways you cannot imagine and produces results you will never forget." Mr. Ustic went on to say that his company had asked city council to Fastrack use of the cleaner at all city facilities and that they were close to inking a deal to make their product the sole cleaner to be used my Sn Beattadaise Trolley Company on all its equipment and rail lines. He added in conclusion: "We're sure Simple Green will be something people here talk about for years to come."
