Well, that doesn't stink.
Beautiful. Did you make detailed drawings? If so, can they be shared?
Is you shop in that nice gambrel roofed building in the background.
Myles,
thank you. I have Some but nothing too elaborate. If you want some information, send an e mail or give a call and I can give you anything you may need. The building in the background is my model room.

In a word, WOW!
Hi Alan... Love your work...I like to model with Polystyrene too and I usually use 040. Your arches and windows look so perfect. What do you use to cut them with??? Do you have any special tools that you use??? Also I have a problem when I add sidewalks to the buildings, they tend to warp, I prime and paint both sides. Do you have any tips on that problem??? Enclosed are a couple of my projects.....The sidewalks on both of these projects are warped.

the buildings look real nice.
i use .060 to .125" styrene sheet for sidewalks. I would glue them down using liquid nails or equal to a wood base.
for cutting arcs, I use a double pointed compass or a circle cutter I bought from micro mark. I do not think micro mark sells them anymore. Commercial ones are available for cutting gaskets.

Simply outstanding!!!
You did a great job, Alan.
Hi Alan,
Don't know how i missed this, but this is an OUTSTANDING !!! model build. Amazing craftsmanship from a true craftsman.
Alex
Absolutely incredible. Great reproduction Alan.
I've build very little in plastic. But this wood model builder thinks you have mastered the craft amazingly well. I think the efforts you made for your customer in downsizing what was obviously a huge prototype structure came out perfectly! I'd like to see it in place on his layout. Really well done.

Stunning!!
Very nice- how did you do the clock?
Stunning.
Again,
Thank you all for your comments.
Rogerpete,
The clock faces and the round frame were purchased separately at Hobby Lobby. I actually used two clock faces in the package. The center one was flipped over and painted black. I made the hands from scratch. The round frame was actually a small mirror from the jewelry department.
