Modeling an O scale TTX Company QTTX 131102 heavy duty 12-axle flatcar
Here is an O scale model based on a prototype heavy duty QTTX 12-axle flatcar that uses 4 pair of 3-axle trucks.
The scale model has an overall length of 64 scale feet with an overall wheelbase of 57-1/2 feet. The deck is 43 feet long. The model uses split bolsters and Lionel 3-axle trucks. Model photos attached.
It is similar to the prototype car number QTTX 131102.
Note: This car is nearly identical to QTTX 131104 except that the deck construction is entirely different. An O scale model of QTTX 131104 has also been built.
