I have been building an around the wall layout for me and my kids. ( See around the wall 10 x 17 - July 2013 )
We have the benchwork all laid out, a simple dual main with o-84 and o-72 Lionel Fastrack with two sidings, one on each side of the wall.
A number of accesories are planned and sitting on the board now, but here is my question.
I purchases last year the new Thomas with the Lionchief RTR. It truly was a blast watching the 4 year old and then the 42 year old use them.
I have since purchased the remaining three friends, Percy, James and Diesal, all RTR.
Do you know if I need to install and plug in all FOUR transformers in order for me to run all four simultaneously?
I do have a new MTH Z4000 sitting in a box on the floor waiting to be used.
My layout is not yet wired, but a very rough and very quick test run with a CW-80 allowed me to run a train through the layout.
I will have multiple drops throughout the layout as I plan to upgrade to at least the TMCC level afterwards.
Right now, if all I was able to do was run the four together, life would be great.
Any ideas?
