This video would really be a good one in the " Imagineering in O guage photography "
This really works well with the sound of the train.

I have not seen your layout before. So what type of a building are you in? Your industrial artifacts are incredible! And their placement is more so!

The Tesla Whiskey Emporium is a Nikola Tesla themed private club in a large Pole Barn in Michigan. Carefully Curated Artifacts are authentic late 1800’s /early 1900’s collected from various online sources. Walls are “Milwaukee brick” and the same as used in 1880 for brewerys. Poured concrete bar and counters. Some of our items came from Industrial Artifacts

I recently put together a NYC Mail train. For the crew or a few possible passengers, I think the GGD combo car on the end gives a nice “finished” look.

I had to bring this one out. From the early 90's, the LTI Great Northern Empire Builder passenger set. I have many modern locomotives, but the growl of those AC Pullmor motors takes me back to my childhood. Please excuse the layout, as it is going through post holiday remodeling.

I have been acquiring lots of baggage cars these days for use in mail and express trains as well as through service head end. This is a GGD NYC baggage. Being the first one I have looked at in detail, I like the detail where the sides roll into the doors like they do on the real thing.

passenger trains
@Don McErlean posted:Well since we have some 1:1 scale pictures, here are two I took on a family trip in spring 2019. It's Irish Rail, the express between Dublin and Belfast. For those of not too familiar with Ireland, those two cities are in fact in two countries. Belfast in Northern Ireland, part of the UK and Dublin the Capital of the Irish Republic.
Here is the front view...its a "push pull" train set, not turned at either station.
Here is the "dining car" - snacks and drinks. The trip including a few stops is abut 2 1/2 - 3 hrs. Food is simple but quite good. Prices are modest.
Love traveling by train, you can see the country your are traveling through vice over.

Would you agree that's one of the most stunning and scenic train routes in the world? With out a doubt it's the greenest! That interior looks nicer than I remember. I went from Belfast to Dublin and then Dublin to Cork during The Troubles. The train stopped and crawled through a fenced-in border crossing but it was mostly a non-event.
Does anyone remember a forum member, I think their name was 'PassengerTrain'? They always posted nice pictures of model passenger trains on a very nice layout.
Here are a couple of mine...

Apple and Orange Line: Great videos, especially the one with the RR history of your family. Thanks for posting. Yes, I agree the scenery on the Dublin to Belfast RR trip was spectacular. You know after that trip why they call it..."The Emerald Isle". Luckily we traveled in between any outbreaks of the troubles, although the BREXIT business stirred up some problems recently. We were surprised to find Belfast still divided by a "Berlin Like" wall that restricted access between parts of the city.
My wife and I have also been train travelers, although that is getting more difficult in the US all the time (aside from tourist trips). We have traveled in the UK, Europe, Ireland, Japan and Korea on trains. The experience on the Japanese high speed rail was unbelievable although the fast trains in the UK and Spain were equally thrilling.
Best wishes to you and I hope you keep posting

Well here is an "oldie" for you all on this fine Friday. A Marx pre-war Commodore Vanderbuilt along with two short wheel base lithographed frame Bogota cars all from about 1930.

What a really handsome passenger train JD.
Not hard to see why this would be a favorite.
I can just barely run my favorite passenger cars on my layout.
That is because I have 031 curves with 022 switches on my layout and the cars are 18 inches long. They are Lionel Pullman green/gray heavyweight passenger cars made in the early 2000s, which are perfect for a layout reminiscent of The Put, like mine. Below are photos of them:
In order to get them to navigate my sharp curves, I had to unscrew the steps at the ends of the cars that would cause derailments on the 022 switches, remove the diaphragms, and put gear oil where the couplers touch the bottom ends of the chassis.
I would love to get shorter identical cars between 12 and 15 inches in length that easily roll through 031 curves. Arnold

Yes!!!!
Arnold @Arnold D. Cribari I noted your comment above on passenger car length. Have you tried the Lionel 2400 series streamlined passenger cars? I just measured mine and they are about 11" long and I run mine on my 0-31 layout with 022 switches with no problems. They came in 3 colors post war (silver, yellow and green although the yellow ones are 50th anniversary cars and are somewhat rare) and the silver ones came in several detail variations (stripes etc). Now I know from our "roll out the MPC" thread that you do not normally go to MPC but they did re-issue these cars in a rather wide variety of liveries, including the grey NYC scheme.
@corp5382 : Couldn't help notice in the picture by your name...is that your son with the merit badges? Did he make Eagle? If so that is a fantastic accomplishment. Please pass on congratulations to him. I only made "Life" myself but was a long time Scout.
Best wishes everyone

Arnold, I think these MTH 60' cars would be ideal for your Put:

30-69090 | MTH ELECTRIC TRAINS (mthtrains.com)
The cars in the classic pullman green and do not have any names, they are just numbered.
