After a trip into western PA., l blundered around Wheeling, WV until l found Patrick's shop, stacked to the ceiling with trains. First visit there after many passes through Wheeling and purchases of his special runs. He had those striking chief warbonnet beer cars that l wish were from any of the four states l collect. I've never been there, but I hear his shop is PACKED full of stuff. I've bought several things off of his website.
Stopped yesterday on a ride along with a friend to pick up some pre-orders. I left with a Lionel Van truck. As usual the place was full of new inventory waiting to be shipped out. It can be tight quarters when a shipment comes in for a while but they usually get it processed and out. There is a lot of stuff and it takes some time to look if you are not there for something specific but Pat or Bill usually know where something is if you are looking for something.
And there's a Dairy Queen just down the street for a Blizzard afterwards. LOL!
Yes, only similar packed shop l have been in was the one in NW lndiana. Didn't notice the DQ, but usually stop at Tom's ice cream place in Zanesville when blowing through, which has made assorted publications for tasty fl
