But your shark set represents the best looking Pennsy freight set!

I agree with Ron, the freight sharks look great. I have the Lionel Century Club AA set but not the B-unit. I initially did not want the B unit becuse I wanted a shorter engine. But the AA consist just does not look right so I am going to get the B-unit someday to complete the set. Here are my Sharks:
Not sure I have posted this image to this thread, but some GG1s doing duty on the old Paradise and Pacific Railroad in Scottsdale, AZ about 18 months before that layout was dismantled and the new one built.
Also, my very first O scale layout from 2001 or so built on the back porch of the cottage at my first home. Those who follow me will notice this is a very different look from what I normally post!

Nice looking lot of cars Bob

That's a B1. BB1 is the term for two of them semi-permanently coupled together (the way they were usually seen).

What can I say? I was led astray by Lionel.
Here is their listing.
Pennsylvania Ballast Train (TMCC BB-1 #4751) SKU: 6-31747 ; Gauge: Traditional O
If you look it up, there is only one engine in the set.

I know I have the same set; but the 4751 came as a single unit.

Hi Bob, you lost me with the 4751 number reference ?

As I wrote before I also have that set; however I started the thread with the lionel 6-31747.

Sorry with missing that nuance. Am preoccupied with a medical situation.

Nice shot of that GG-1 Bob
4800 sure looked pretty good when it first got repainted by the museum. It didn't quite look as nice when I visited on a hazy day in the summer of 2008.
It did help though with my research on this project
Nice photo's GG1 4877, Some mountain action.
The local freight should have cleared the main well before the Broadway Limited was due. He was delayed due to setting out a bad order car.

Here’s my new to me Lionel N5B caboose that arrived this week from a Forum member:
Now residing with the rest of my Pennsylvania freight fleet waiting for their turn to run…maybe today…
I had the opportunity to buy some Pennsy freight cars, nicely weathered from the collection of Hugo Pallesen. The boxcars are from Atlas, caboose is MTH and pulpwood cars and the last boxcar are unknown origine, I think Japan brass from the 60"s....

I had picked up the Williams brass prewar and later streamlined K4's along with the L1 a few years back but had been wanting to add the Weaver 3768 to the roster. Finally got that done a few weeks back. Throw in a bunch of Scale Craft K4's along with an MTH and a few Lionel ones and I guess I like K4's lol Can you ever have too many K4's? Nah, I don't think so!!
That ugly GG1 is a bronze cast Baldwin models scale doorstop from about 1945-1960. Twin motors and a full 18 pounds, it is a beast. Can't wait to get that running on my upper level loops when they are done!

Thanks Mark, the basic table is 16 X 8. The river adds an additional foot. It’s on a piano hinge, so I can lower it if the furnace has to be replaced. The upper part with Pennsylvania Station is a 4X8.
@Sitka- Loved your sentiment about today Mark, I think everyone of us, especially those of us involved at the time in DOD remember where we were at the exact moment that the towers were hit. I know I do...I was an engineer in Naval Aviation at the time and was out at NAS China Lake on business.
OK for today, PRR and some Lionel "history". Here are two cabooses, over 50 years apart.
The 6257 on the left is plastic and has really bright livery and dates from 2000
The 2472 on the right is all tinplate with much more realistic livery and dates from 1946.
Best Wishes and Never Forget!!

Number 5760 was an EMD E8A Pennsy class EP22.
