According to MTH's Facebook page today the Premier NKP Berkshires should hopefully begin arriving in about two months. Hopefully they will be here for our 6th Annual Open House on August 22nd!
Also for those of you familiar with our Stockyard Exclusive Products our NKP cabooses numbered 1047 and 1155 will be off the boat at MTH on June 7th and will match up perfectly with the Berks. Only 100 will be produced so pre-order now!

would be nice to see a scale NKP 1000 series caboose vs a generic repaint.
What is the manufacturer number and retail cost of this engine? Thanks.
MTH has already produced cabooses in this number series in the N6b style so we had to stick with the available tooling. We are considering making CA-1 style cabooses in NKP and/or Wheeling & Lake Erie later this year.
The Berkshires are available in both Volume 1 and 2 of the 2015 catalogs. 5 locomotive numbers are available to order, 3 individually and 2 in specialty sets.

I have 4 berks but only one generic NE caboose from Lionel... and a odd looking yard caboose from K line....
I am convinced these will be great locos: I've bought a lot of Premier locos lately and all have been fantastic. MTH is on a roll now as regards the detail and finish on their scale steamers. But I will pass this time. The Recent Legacy 765 Berk is really good, too. I run it alot, and one is all I need.
Whistle steam is nice, but I don't miss in on the MTH steamers I have. Some of the Lionel I have bought recently have it but I don't do the whistles that often so it is not nearly as important to me as what the MTH do have, just really good detail and finish. Nice models.
The NKP Cabooses are $64.95 each. You can choose from #1047 which is located at the Mad River & NKP Museum in Bellevue, Ohio and #1155 is in storage in Vermilion, Ohio awaiting restoration. There will only be 50 produced of each number!
Ordered the Premier 765..Really looking forward to it..My first Berk..Need a 759 now in the future
