PS3 engine lost some ditch light funtions

This engine a member engine in a 5 unit MU. Only ditch light function is flashing fwd w/ horn. Menu>ditch lights> "on" will not stick.

Feature reset did not restore. Will a factory reset help and is there a way to maintain current address ID?

Can't hurt. After reset re-add and change address back to 5 which should be open. It could be because of the MU though?
