"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

I've run across some very good deals for used Atlas brass switch's

Are they code 100?  Will they work with DCC? If not can they be made to work with DCC?

Any reason not to buy used & are they reliable?  I assume they will work with Nickel Silver track, may look odd but as long as they work won't

bother me. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I used that old brass track from Atlas, for many years. Yes, it will work. No, do not use it. It gets dirty in a hurry, and if your layout is in any type of area that tends to have high humidity, like a basement, it will corrode quickly. In fact, you really need to clean the rail tops weekly no matter what the humidity conditions are. Go with the slightly higher priced nickle silver. You will be glad you did when it come time to operate.
