Hello,

I couldn't find what the product was called and I think I may have gotten them confused with a different item. What were the Lionel boxcars called that had the sound of steam/whistle/bell and were designed to be used with the older transformers and older products? I may be getting the product confused with the boxcars that have the sounds of the brakes etc.

Is there a list of the various items available? I know they had several that were for steam engines and some for Diesel engines.

They were called Train Sounds Boxcars, they had steam and diesel.

6-36789 is a diesel sounds model and 6-26816 is a steam sounds model. There are others that were offered over the years, those are just examples.
