Hi John,

The people on the Forum just helped me back in July.

I don't know how to post a link to the thread on how my water tower was repaired, but the title is "Water Tower 6-14086 Leaks" posted by "Coop2035".

There are many emails with detailed photos and links to buying the correct pump and hoses.

And, great directions on how to do it!

My tower is on the layout, with blue food coloring added to the distilled water, and has been keeping the tenders of all my steamers filled with water.

Vernon,

I watched your video and saw that the flow rate is much faster than the origin pump.

Since the pump your bought seems to run using 5-16V DC, will the flow rate decrease if a lower voltage is used ?  Also I think there was a capacitor wired onto the original pump. Does this need to be added when putting in the pump you used ?

Thanks, John

Vernon will also probably reply.

All you need to do is take the two wires coming from the circuit board and attach them to the pump.

Nothing else is needed.

I use an outside handle on my old ZW that I use for accessories that need variable voltages (like the cattle car).

With the water tower, when I lower the voltage, and then press the on switch, the spout lowers slower, and the tank drains slower (but still fairly quickly).
