On a recent trip to South Carolina, I saw several RJ Corman locomotives and one train in the area of Chadbourn, NC. Can anyone tell me about what line this is/was and the extent of their service area? Several units were tied up at Chadbourn when I went down on a Sunday and the train was tied down on line of road in SC, along Rt.701, south of Tabor City, NC.

That is the line that goes to Myrtle Beach, SC. They have owned this line about two or three years. You can see a map of it at the R J Corman website. It had been shut down by the previous owners due to failing federal bridge inspections. Previously known as Horry County Railroad and Carolina Southern Railroad.
