Well, since I converted an MTH Premier set, I doubt you'd find station sounds in any road name for that.

 

One issue with changing road names is many of the station sounds diners are specific to the set.  In the case of this PRR Congressional, they talk about the train name in many of the announcements.  I don't know if there are any "generic" ones.

Yup. I'd forgotten you were modifying a MTH car. You're also right about the problem with road-specific announcements, but of course that's going to be an issue with your procedure as well. But the method could work for someone looking to add StationSounds to a Lionel passenger set. Since Lionel has different boards available for certain different rail lines (Santa Fe, for example), there may be one that matches the particular car line one has, as in the case of your Pennsy. Then you're in luck!
