I'm reading posts and even a few seem like attacks. It occurred to me that I'm still running my 4 TIU's without any issues. None have failed in anyway. So I took the extra TIUs back outside to make sure they still work.
"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.
Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Wow!! You have a really nice garden railroad. I would love to see more photos.
One of the problems we have on the G&O is adding a new engine for the first time to the remote and TIU. We get the message "No engine to add" most of the time. This occurs when a person brings a engine for the first time to club. This also happens with the MTH Wifi system. Sometimes we can't add an engine at all even though the engine works on the person's home indoor layout.
Have you tried adding an engine by placing it on your outdoor track and adding it for the first time to the remote or Wifi and TIU?

How many freight cars were you pulling?

Yes I have done this. My layout is divided into blocks, even though there's the same power source for each mainline. My signal is very strong. What do you get with a signal test?

?? I'm not sure, I'll have to count. I pulled around two or three sidings worth of cars out of the shed's storage tracks.
I usually max out under 50 with several engines in the consist. This train was a quick run with only two engines, so I limit the # of cars. I don't work any engine harder than it needs to. The mainline grade is fairly low. It's the track leading in and out of the shed that maxes out around 3% I think? So I have to put it away in steps, breaking up the train. When I'm in a hurry or in this case, the first run, I don't pull out too many cars.

I will test the signals tomorrow (Saturday) at the club. I was unable to add a Proto 2 engine last week at the club but I didn't have any other DCS engines with me to test the signal strength. The engine ran perfectly on my home layout after I got home. My club layout is the G&O. Here is a link to information about it on this forum if you haven't seen it:
