I contacted Atlas O for some screws for the body I lost. No luck. Any suggestions on where to buy small machine screws that can be used as a replacements for AtlasO, MTH & Lionel trains.

These metric screws worked for my Lionel Shay...
I just ordered this set on Amazon. Looks pretty complete and are blackened.
You mentioned body screw. It wouldn’t happen to look like this as far as threads.
I’ve seen these individually but never found an assortment. Used for plastics with a coarse thread. If it is something like this. Atlas’ site has parts breakdowns and you might be able to come up with the correct size.
If all else fails. www.microfasteners.com they have a good varied supply of just about anything. Maybe a local shop that specializes in RC cars and such can come up with something.

Good suggestions above.
For course body screws, and even some machine screws, I go to places and look for the most beat up, ruined, cheap plastic cars I can find, pay about $3 to $5 for them, and salvage all of the screws and usable small parts. Often, you will find them with a totally metal frame and couplers in great shape, so I remove and trash the shells, and keep everything else in tact.
Most cheap plastic cars have been dropped, stepped on and kicked by kids far more than they have been run on the rails.
See if you can find some trashed Atas O cars or engines.

Lots of self-tapping assortments on Amazon.
Bruce, I assume it's metric. It's a Flathead Philips drive machine threaded screw w1/16" x L1/4" ? I tried get a picture as an attachment. Still working on that. I tried RC hobby shop next I will try your link.

Ace Hardware or equivalent? Some have assortments down to "2" sizes. Needed some tiny screws, nuts, and washers to repair an Atlas F for a friend.
Microfasteners.com is an alternative, if you don't want to go the Amazon route. They've got all sorts, metric or imperial, various materials, etc.

If you can come up with the size. Goggle Monster Bolt. They will come up on Amazon. I purchased some as I needed some for a project with a countersunk head. I may even have what you need. If you click on the buying options the different lengths will pop up.
