The club hosted our monthly Open House today and we had quite a good group of visitors. Two elderly ladies showed up who spotted an article in the paper about us and said they really liked trains. One promised to return and left us her email for notifications!

Asheville member Jerry Beavers is quite inventive - He brought his Atlas Central of Georgia F3s heading up a long string of RK CoG passenger cars that he had added many passengers to. The RK cars are quite nice and have great detail. When a few passengers are added they really shine. Jerry even added an interior to the baggage car with several figures inside and a webbed guard gate to keep them in. Very nice effect.

His Navy train ran as well.

Larry Childers brought his handsome Seaboard Premiere Geep but I only caught a video of it and no stills!

I was able to test run a new RK Imperial SD70ACe (bottom pic) that I'm offering for sale on the FS/Trade board. It looks, sounds, and smoke GREAT
