Good Morning Everyone,
I will start with some pictures of a Rocket launch control building I am working on. The water tower is also part of the complex.

Wow Alan, great work. I agree with Jeff, I always look forward to see what you’re up to. Thank you. I just finished the Oblong Box Company kit from Dennis Brennan.

Here is an update on the Budweiser Office building I posted a few weeks back. The building FLat was purchased from thr NJ HiRailers (thanks Ben). I just completed at least for now, the interior with two offices, a cafeteria seating, a facilities room and of course the Budweiser Tap Room. You can see the building open with the people and details in place. I attached the backing with screws so I can always add more details or repair work in case the LED lighting goes bad. The signage was created from MS Word. The Beer glassed were created from dowels painted yellow with white tops. The last photo shows how the building will look adjacent to the Budweiser Grain silos. Both are flats and only need 4" of depth to fit onto my layout. Just need to create the staircase for the frontt door and its done
BTW I will be starting an expansion which these buildings will anchor my back wall. The expansion will be dedicated to sidings and operations. I will be glad to showcase that later this year, hopefully B4 the new year
Thanks to Alan for his keeping this thread going and to everyones postings which are truly inspiring!!!!
Beautiful work as always guys. Alan you never cease to amaze me. Steve I love the Budweiser Building. James the Brennan build is very well done.
I have been working on my Wonder Bread Bakery. I have the basic structure built, have two coats of white paint on the walls, and painted the trailer doors dark gray.
I have been mocking up the office area on the front with pictures inside and double lights overhead. I am using Woodland Scenics stickup lights so I can control the intensity with the dimmer on the light hub.
The bakery is on a lift-out section so I am building it at the work bench. I screwed it down to the plywood lift-out after I painted the parking lot and weathered it. Also put grass down while it is on the bench.
Next I have to finish the office and then make a roof and detail it. Also I want to build some flour silos out of PVC pipe that will sit directly behind the bakery on the rail spur for unloading flour form my covered hoppers.
Other plans are to custom make a WONDER BREAD sign for the roof. I have the large Miller Engineering one, but it too large and too modern for me.

Nice work everyone! Art I like the bakery.
Nice work on the Wonder Bread build Art.

I am familiar with the review of people's work for this is what I did daily for nearly forty years. But in this concept i find it both entertaining and rewarding. The photos allow me to witness the artists work in steps of completion an then, finally,
the finale.
I too am in appreciation of Alan's work and others as they perform.I
Have a good week!

Great stuff, guys!

Just completed two tank towers with the Plastruct Tank kit as a starting point. Incidentally Alan Graziano was the original designer for the kit. He builds this design a lot for customers.
I played around with the tank sizes. I am also going to build another tank tower but for this one the customer wants 19 inches from ground to platform so instead of cutting the posts at 5 degrees I am going to 3 degrees maybe lower. The tanks below are 3 1/4 inch diam by 6 inches and the kit tank at 4 inch diam by 4 inches high. My customer likes the 4 inch and I kind of like the 3 1/4 inch so things worked out nice. I will be painting the customers a dull aluminum or nickel and mine black.
Joe
Nice work on the towers Joe.

Joe,
I like the slender look of the water towers with the taller shells.
you can just use some longer pipe to maintain the 5 degree angle for the taller balcony height. I can calculate it for you if you want

Yea I like the slender look also
If you don't mind please calculate for me. I was worried about having a platform too small or base to big with 5 degrees.

Hello Alan an Joe. I drove east to the next county passed a huge water tank this afternoon to view the very large tank and support. I find it's the identical design of your tank. With the exception my blue tank does not have the funnel cap as your design.
I was not certain about the tank top and now I am. The blue tank appears much wider than the Plastruct kit. I also stopped near a train track tunnel to view the simplest route by foot. My plan is to visit and view the tunnel entrance first hand right after the first freeze. I will be adding into my mountain two double tunnels and a single this winter.
My two water tanks will be from ground up design.t
