Yes, I would have it weathered. That is a particular skill I would like to learn. I have a Lionel consolidation that is weathered and I love how it looks. But for now, I'll keep it as is, except for maybe dulling down the side rods with neolube.
I should have kept my name down for one but I sold off all my NYC freight engines a few years ago. It looks awesome it would be nice to see one with some proper weathering. Anyone know if it has the movable reverse gear? That's a feature unique to 3rd Rail (in 3 rail anyway).
Well, that's just painful. No, I didn't get one. I have too much already. Plenty of Hudsons, Mohawks, Niagaras, an A-1 and A-2 Berk, even a home-bashed K-5 Pacific and an 0-8-8-0 humper.
However, I have a NYC "Mikado Gap".
