I recently learned of the passing of John M. Koch, founder of Green Frog Productions. The Georgia based company has released many fine programs over the years. In particular, Green Frog's techniques of digital restoration and transfer of vintage film produce moving images featuring superb clarity and vivid colors. The same level of sharpness is applied to black and white subjects as well. In addition to its many vintage titles, the catalog contains excellent programs featuring contemporary action from recent decades.
As a satisfied customer, Green Frog got a lot of my money over the years and I've accumulated an extensive selection of the company's titles on my shelves. Thank you Mr. Koch for having made this material available for our enjoyment. I send my condolences to his family and best wishes to his sons for continued success with the business.
