ALL very neat! NOT!
Looks good, mine is not a dedicated bench as I work at any horizontal area.
My parts bins follow my trails.
I will try to take some pictures of my parts/project bins tonight.

I see nothing wrong with this as I call it a organised mess, but I do the same and I m sure you know where everything is.
If it is real clean work area/completely organized there is no work being done.
A little messy right now, but as soon as I finish the tender in the vice, I'll pick everything up and start messing it up again.

This photo is a few years old, but you get the idea.
For the electronic guys out there, all the analog stuff in the photo has since been replaced.
And some days, you have too much help. He is sitting on one of my inventions, trying to help it hatch....

Eddie, here is my workbench. I did not show in the video, I have a dedicated laptop for train work and files only. That is in front of the Cab-1. Under the bench are my manuals and to the left is my took rack and parts department. Sorry for the poor quality video.

My work bench is my dining room table. If I had room for a work bench, my layout would be that much larger...

Does the kitchen table count?? Really I don't have a work station, table. Just a tiny tool box with a few wiring tools.

My build paint and decal desk. This is in my office......
I have a different desk where I test, oil and do electric work and testing......I'll take a photo later...
Forgive the wires hanging...I am in the middle of new LED lighting. But you get the idea. The big PRR Q1 is soon to be moved to the work zone.

Not even close Eddie! I can at least tell that you're working on a whistle tender.
This is my electronics workbench where my wife and I have been doing card assembly.
This is my regular workbench. It is so covered with an accumulation of projects and tools It is virtually unusable. It needs a serious cleaning!
I just installed this counter top at the beginning of the month, and it already has that "lived in" look.
I'm having an open house at the end of April. This all gets cleaned up by then.

Elliot, I live about 2 hours from you. I would love to get to your open house or just get to see your layout sometime.

Michael, probably best if we if we set up a private showing. I wouldn't want you to get lost in the shuffle of the open if you're coming that far. I expect my head to be spinning that day (more than usual).Just drop me an email, and we can set something up.
