Todd Architectural Models & Layouts is excited to announce a new product for the O Scale model railroading hobbyist. Our lineup of laser scored and cut buildings has been designed to offer the hobbyist a full range of product options, from kit form to fully-constructed and custom painted. The design includes flexibility for fronts, shadow boxes (1” depth) and entire buildings, complete with individual floors and ceilings.
The building fronts are individually laser scored and cut, as are windows, doors, floors and ceilings, and other construction components. All parts come complete with peal-and-stick adhesive transfer tape for ease of assembly. Painting is accomplished by first priming and then airbrushing/spraying the desired colors onto the pieces.
Limited Production O Scale Buildings & Fronts Series 1 will consist of six buildings with the largest, 9” wide x 12” tall, produced in the most limited amount. You will have to option of ordering the buildings with either clear or translucent window glazing.
For the Fall 2015 York train show, 40 samples have been produced to introduce the hobby to our Series 1 release of Limited Production O Scale Buildings & Fronts. Eight different versions have been created simply by varying the window color, door location and glazing material. Each sample packet will include a 4" x 6" flat, information about the Series 1 buildings and a laser cut Lionel puzzle card. I will be asking $10 for the sample with a limit of one per customer.
