These were in a box of trains we acquired. Not sure if I should just clean them up or stick them in a corner of my layout. They are not detailed but still look nice.

Those wheels are a huge improvement. Where do you get them?
I love the wheels on your truck.

I got these from a place called Don Mills models. I don't think they are around anymore, but their products show up on ebay.
They made 1/48 scale wheels, rims and various other truck parts. In fact the horn and side view mirrors (West coast mirrors as they called them) all came from Don Mills.

Thanks for the info. Don Mills has a bunch of items on ebay, as you describe.
@DMASSO, far be it from me to create more work for you but I would clean up the better ones and I would follow @Mark Diff lead and update and upgrade some of the ones that are a little worse for wear. That would give you enough Mobil tankers for a fuel depot while the upgraded ones would give you some variety.
Thank you coach Joe. All good ideas. I just need to fit them in my schedule. I have too many things to do and less energy to do them. Three pinch nerves and knee issues has slowed me down.🙄
Yikes! In that case it's clean them up a little and place them on the layout where everthey look good.

You should consider doing a "how to" on that; it looks really good!

I saw some truck wheels on rims on Berkshire Valley Models
