Since that would have originally been Central Pacific, then Southern Pacific, you might have better luck researching it under those names.
If I recall, there is a train museum in Elko that would have some good info.
The Union Pacific Historical Society has a magazine called The Streamliner. In volume 18, Number 4, from Fall 2004 they have some info on the Elko, NV Mainline Fueling Facility. https://uphs-store.myshopify.c...ol-18-no-4-fall-2004
