USA trains G scale comparison

"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

On the Charles Ro website they describe their Ultimate series as 1/29 scale and a 40 foot boxcar as 17" long. Their American series as 1/24 but a 40 foot boxcar is 14" long. This seems backwards. Can somebody supply a photo of the two side by side or is there a simple explanation.

Gary, someone can correct me if I am wrong but my USA 1/29 gives the basic appearance of scale. 1/24 seems to be geared more towards a narrow gauge look.
