I looked a couple pages back to read my want add from last week. I believe it's on page 3. It has a red box upper left corner. It now says Closed. What's that about? Dave
"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.
Post your non-O scale stuff here!

I'm guessing because it could have leaned towards possible political comments
If that's true I think I've had enough of this fun
I looked at your ad ,it looked ok to me.......possible there was a not so good comment posted in the replies that was deleted ?

It's just a guess since I don't see anything else wrong

Nothing wrong with the post. It’s closed because responses are not allowed. They are to contact you via your email.
Replies are allowed in the WTB Forum. There are over 30 on the first page of posts alone. The moderators know what they are doing. Just leave it at that.
Probably had nothing to do with you. Your post is fine. Someone probably made some political comment (because of the items you are looking for) and ruined it for you.
Just repost it. Don't leave the forum. I know it feels personal when they remove posts but they are just trying to keep a clean forum.
I think the post is still there; just no new forum replies are permitted. They can still be done by email.

This is what gets me. Rich Melvin posted Sept 2016 that no replies were permitted on the WTB forum. Hopefully that is why Dave’s post was closed. I don’t want him discouraged about the forum.
I think what is discouraged on the WTB forum is getting into a conversation that wanders from the specific topic. Also, I've seen instances where I simply posted a reply that said something like "Send me an email and I'll fix you up", and that was deleted. So, I don't know if it's universally known or applied that replies are permitted in the WTB forum.
