Love it!!

I had a similar idea for our MDOT, Michigan Department of Transportation...  Those cross-grooves they grind into a highway surface to create a tonal alert to drivers?....why not do so in a matter of collegiate whimsy and support?  At the state limit of 55 to 70 mph on these roads, you can generate a rather interesting 'tune' by the spacing of the grooves (frequency).

For example, there are some long, straight stretches of state roads south of Ann Arbor (e.g., US23) from the Ohio border.    Why not cut the grooves in the northbound lanes to 'play' "Hail, To The Victors", Michigan's fight song,...for the enjoyment of all the Buckeye (Ohio State) nuts coming to the Big House for a bit of smash-face?   Ditto, the long roads leading into any college town.

I know, I know.....no money....lawsuits from neighbors...noise pollution...highway maintenance problems....etc......etc......blah.....blah.

Hey, sure beats thinking about death, taxes, .........politics.............IMHO, anyway.
