"HONGZ" stands for HO scale, N scale, G scale, and Z scale.

Post your non-O scale stuff here!

Continuing with my recent theme of layouts exhibited at the "Big E", this week we have N scale action courtesy of Northeast N-Trak. The section featuring lines on multiple levels was one of the most impressive modeling efforts I've ever seen. Note it also included a scale speed indicator.

Kind of in keeping with Andre's post about vintage HO steam, not quit as vintage as the 1950's, but from the 1980's.   All of these guys are on my "Round Tuit" list.

First up, a Mantua Mikado that's already been under the file to remove the cast on Worthington feedwater heater and steam turret enclosure.  The tender is Bowser, I might still use the original Mantua tender.  Depends how I feel if and when I get back to this one.

Next up, the Mantua Prairie kit.  Even with all the molded in detail, it's not a bad looking chooch when built.  The only thing I don't like is the molded on headlight on the smokebox front.

I did one up in the 1970's, although it's hard to tell in this lousy photo:

And finally, the Mantua 2-6-6-2, another work in delayed progress.  I removed the big steam pipes that ran along the top of the boiler and added a cab from a Pemco 2-6-0.  Still needs a lot of work before I can call it done, but it's waited 25 years, I guess it can wait a little longer...

One of these daze...
