Weekend Photo Fun is here!
After yesterdays big storm decided to bring out some old photos of my layout when I changed it over to a Winter layout.
Let's see your pictures.

Funny how postwar Lionel painted their handsome and desirable No 2368 B&O F3 in the wrong colors. Personally, I've always liked the early diesel but as I've become more prototypically orientated, I really like the 'true colors' below on their Legacy Sharks...

Train related.
Max helped with the next phase of wiring.......he's real good at TMCC!
Modular group and Forum member Kanawha gave me this idea on how to organize my SC-2.
It will will go under here to control the 6 switches on the 3rd leve/engine facility.

Newly dirtied up coal train heading around the bend.
Yes I haven't brought myself to sully the image of this... my FIRST engine that got me back into this hobby (a pretty BNSF SD70ace).
There weren't supposed to be any hobos on my layout, but a few arrived in a group of people off the EBay express anyway. I had them confined to a box under the layout but then they got out and appear to now be riding the rails having a hi-old time! Well as long as they aren't panhandling I'm fine with it I guess.
Yesterday I was able to install the entire Gold Edition Polar Express passenger set on the new 2015 Christmas layout. These new Heavyweight passenger cars are terrific. The interior detail is Lionel's best ever and the lighting is excellent. Sure makes a very attractive passenger train in every respect.

Love all the Fastrack layouts! Rick is that Super O Track? Nice looking layout.

I like NS OCS units. I assume one is RailKing and other is the MTH Premier? I have the RailKing versoin with PS2 and enjoy it. Your Old Milwaukee Beer Boxcar collection is very nice. When my Dad was alive, he was distributor for Old Milwaukee and Schlitz. There was a day that Old Milwaukee and Schlitz were a very good seller for him until Schlitz made the costly mistake of changing the taste of the beer. Hence, he had to become distributor for other beers in order to stay in business. Thanks for sharing the photos.
Took my younger brother out to the Nassau Lionel Operating Layout back in December.
Had a great time, the layout for lack of a better adjective, its breathtaking!
Here's a small video:
Enjoy!
Thanks KJSTRAINS for the compliments. Yes Ol Mil has been sold quite a few times in its history. I still enjoy it while running my trains. Great taste and doesn't kill me the next day. For a few years I was picking these cars up at train shows for about 15-20 bucks and had amassed 24 of them, or a case. Was gonna go for a 30 pack or cube but thought against it. Might have to join AA then? Yes the NS OCS are both the Premier and RK versions. I still need the Alabama and Pennsylvania cars to complete the Premiere set.

Finished wiring a pair of 153 block signals so I can now run 3 trains at once on my two loops.....
Now, all I have to do is wire 9 switch control buttons into the control panel and I can start scenery..... I can't wait to start!!

Although I think the layout is better suited to postwar, MPC era equipment looks equally at home on it -
Since Lucia loves all sea things, I picked up this MTH sea horse aquarium car for her -
The kids ( & Quimby the Cat) enjoying the trains last weekend -
Picked up the 8559 N&W GP9 off the bay last week -
Lucia wanted to go see some trains, so we took a ride to Roanoke last Saturday -
Also picked up a Lionel Little Lines set for Lorenzo - He loves it!
Some more Altoona pics -
A 2014 Christmas layout memory.
One of a few areas that I set up specifically for the kids to 'play' at:
* Lionel's magnetic crane - a yearly hit.
* Two "candy trains" - also a yearly hit.
* the PW coal ramp and conveyor belt. I use NERDs candy. The only way the kids are allowed to eat it is if they dump a few small boxes into the hopper, drop it into the conveyor belt bin, activate the conveyor belt and catch it in provided bowls. I went thru 30 of the small boxes during my annual family train party that I host.

Here is a great video from the layout of my good friend Captain John.

Thanks Greg, glad that you like it! The layout is about 10' X 10' and 100% Super O. I've custom bent most of the curves so that the smallest diameter on the outside loop is 48" with a lot of 66" & 72" curves. I'm currently replacing the manual 142 switches on the double crossover with 112R's.
Arrived this week from Amazon......a deal a fellow OGR member posted. WbB Christmas 4-6-0 steam set. Complete set with loco, reefer, gondola and PRR style caboose.
