This is great!  Awesome seeing kids involved

Thanks Mike!  I actually framed the Lorenzo one - I thought it was cute

The kids are ALWAYS in there - more than I am actually

I'm sorry. Regrettably, yes. Problem is they have been working for peanuts, for years. May I suggest that you replace them with Organic Free ranging Chickens?

Now my Granddaughter won't get to see the Circus elephants. It offends me; that the activists are offended.

Your office is on the bridge?   How awesome would that be?

I took these pics on Wednesday on my way to Southside Richmond.  Love that bridge and wish there was somewhere on the highway to pull over to get a better picture instead of snapping one at 65 mph with a camera phone.

From the orientation of the car, I thought you were headed north.......but, anyway, my office is at CJW, about a mile and a half south of the river along Chippenham Pkwy (route 150).

There's a map on our website..........     www.rneph.com.

Love that bridge....pass it often.......especially like it when I see the AutoTrain running north or south.....or, the Tropicana train going north.

Postman just dropped this off........

This is a Weaver D&RGW Cookie box......One reason I named my Eastern based railroad the D&RGW (Denver (NC), Rio Grande (Ohio) & Weston (WV)) was so I could buy off the shelf items but they are for my fictitious home railroad. A VERY nice scale car. I paid more than I like to....but such a nice car in home road colors......worth it!!!!

It was completely scratch built (brass, etc.) by a local GM&O modeler.

Excused as it is GM&O

Came with scale wheels and kadee couplers.  I already pressed them into service.

Rick

Now ya did it, I gotta get a couple in 3 rail for my Military consist. It's getting long but I'm sure a the Northern or the Big Boy will have no problems pulling it.

I model the Boston & Albany in 1944. With a shortage of power the parent NYC sent L2a Mohawks to help out. The trip begins in W. Mansfield at the turntable.

Missed the engine at the gas station. Got a good shot of some eastbound hoppers.

Heading downgrade towards State Line tunnel.

The final shot is after just crossing the Mass. Line. The gentlemen in the car at least picked a good spot to pull over.

Trolley details and ad signs.

Yes that is close in size.

Terry, just copy old vintage signs from Yahoo, ebay or on the net. Reduce them with MS Excel and print out using gloss photo paper.

My printer is an Epson R280 photo printer.

More here album XVI - https://steves3roscale.shutterfly.com/pictures/8585

You can type out and make your own destination signs as well.

I hope you know I was kidding about your office, LOL.

I really like the bridge too, always picturesque with or without trains.   Really cool when the CSX coal cars are parked underneath.  Frustrated there is nowhere to stop to get a good pic.

You notice that you only see full hoppers on the CSX River line....I said something to Kanawha, our resident C&O expert. He told me that full hoppers into Tidewater come east on the river line, and, CSX empties go west from Tidewater on the line through Hanover Jct (Doswell).

Peter

Oh yes.....I knew you were kidding!
