We ran a few trains on the holiday weekend. Sometimes I skip pictures as I just want to enjoy the trains. I happened to catch a pic of the very first train we ran before storing the camera away.
We later on ran my Amtrak engines outside to test their pulling with new trucks installed. I didn't get any pics of those. I had the grill going, company over, and our grandson took charge of the RR.

Yesterday I had a run with the Gauge 1 (1:32) KM1 Baureihe 03 001 locomotive; the real 03 001 is owned by the German Rail Museum in Nürnberg:

Went to the museum in Spencer (on Saturday) and got to ride in the cab of 2601 again. Been quite a while since I last visited. Afterwards, I visited the Little Choo Choo shop, and I got to buy an Atlas Peabody Coal Co. GP7.
