This is an old photo of a freight car I picked up at a local Florida train store many years ago. Evidently it was a special run made by Micro trains.

A Wonderful 'HONGZ' Day in Hendersonville NC

The Apple Valley Model RR Club celebrated it's 25th Anniversary today and invited the whole town to come out and join us. A Blue Ridge Southern Geep parked alongside, member Rob Watson works at the Bryson City RR museum operating the large Lionel layout is also a drummer and with with his band 'Fried Pie' entertained, and the club's various layouts were on display.

Enjoy this brief tour.

Locomotive fired Bar B Que was served plus Goat's Milk Gilatto ice cream

these guys were good and had a nice solid sound - played a lot of RR songs

Across the street is the French Broad N'Pire N Scale Club who participated as well. They have a nice large layout and are open when the HO club is.
