Decals on and drying. Have to get a bottle of microset to finish the process. My Ma & PA rolling stock is just about complete. I have my #5 & 6 Richmond 4-4-0's, #27 Baldwin 4-6-0, I am going to add a what if fantasy USRA 2-8-2. The lone diesel will be a EMD GP7 #86 that they bought from the Reading (621) in March 1976.

Good Luck with "microset". That stuff never worked for me. I use Pledge with Futureshine. It's much cheaper than Microset and it really works!
A Short Video Of N Scale Train Running At The Clarksburg Area Model Railroad!!!!!
Was not happy with how the Lackawanna decals set on this 2-8-2. So, may I present MA & PA 2-8-2 #2343. Now I know the MA & PA never had any 2-8-2 mikado's, largest steam engine they had was their last one purchased. It was a Baldwin 2-8-0 #43 built in 1925 with 51" drivers, 22x28" cylinders, 190 pounds of boiler pressure, 43,000 lbs of tractive effort and total weight was 330,850 lbs. I was looking for a undecorated 2-8-0 in a baldwin style and a high mounted headlight. That was like trying to find a needle in a hay stack, so I decided to use this USRA light mikado. I call this the WWII extra power steam engine, it has the quick paint job of lettering and number. Traffic was getting backed up, so they decided to add the road numbers on the headlight at a later date. This was the quickest surplus engine they could find and at their price too. This will run on my living room layout with #5, 6 and 27, this is a Broadway Limited with paragon 3 for rolling thunder sound. I picked up an N scale subwoofer kit that will tie into the thunder and lighting kit for complete rolling thunder sound.
