It's time to start the pictures. Since Christmas is on Wednesday this year I guess we will have pre and post Christmas photo fun editions.

Last week I received a couple of Monopoly cars from Charles Ro;

A group of five of us in the Prescott (AZ) area have built 4x8 portable layouts.  Here are a couple of shots from yesterday at the Prescott Valley Senior Center.  In the past week we also were at an elementary and a middle school.  Nothing beats 700 excited kids coming through to watch the trains run!

Here's a few views of PRR Erie Built unit 9470 approaching the "Iron Bridge" and Enola Yard.  The photos were inspired by the December Tidemark PRR calendar photo of the same engine at the same location.

BTW, the number of posts on Weekend Photo Fun seems to be slowly dwindling. Last week, there was an 18 hour gap between posts by Sunday.  I was talking to a few of my fellow posters, and all of us would like to see it go back to "Sunday" photo fun to sort of increase the impact and intensity of the thread.  Any thoughts on this subject?  Please, no grenade throwing!

I have not posted on the forum since early September apparently.  I agree with Neal,  lets get more post!

Working on the maintenance facility.  Needs a sanding tower.

Building to the right is the sandhouse and you can see the sand car.  Sorry about the crooked picture.  I took the wooden doors off the shed,  made roll ups partly showing.

So much to do still in just this shot!  The telephone poles are not strung yet, so the poles are just set in and not permanent.  Stopped in at Mercer Junction and talk to Dave to see if he had strung any yet.  He is on the verge.  Good to see you again Dave.

Enjoy the weekend everyone!

Chris

You throw a grenade and then you ask us not to throw it back. The forum almost had a meltdown over Sunday Photo Fun a few years ago. It's working now and so what if we go 18 hours between posts; you can still find the thread.
