I like Weekend Photo Fun as is.
Merry Christmas to all have a great week.
Some photos of the Canadian Pacific Holiday train as it rolled through town last weekend.
The train rolls into town and then the stage car opens up and a band plays.
They collect food for the food banks in each town. Great event.
1 trains rolls from Canada to US and the other across Canada to the west coast.
Lights and images on some cars change lights blinking on and off.
Edge of each car goes from Red to Green to Blue.
Great colorful view as the train passes.
Click on photos for larger views.
I am still working on a O Gauge model of this train.

Great pictures everyone. Thank you for sharing them.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Hello guys! I'm more of a reader than a poster, but I thought you guys would enjoy this. I'm a photography student, and for a final project I had to design a business brochure. I used my fictional railroad as the company I was promoting. This is what I used as my front cover, a Lionel 736 just after I blew down the stack. Click to enlarge and enjoy!

It was such a big deal that even the Mid Atlantic Railway System's Chairman of the Board, William B. Goodman, was on hand. And for just a moment, there was the "Big Guy" all decked out in red. He was there and then he was gone. I can't believe I got this photo, for I know without it, no one would believe what I was saying.
Well, it looks like it is going to be a Polar Express Christmas for one lucky 8 year old grandson, who along with his family will be visiting us this weekend. I can tell you that excitement is building for all the folks along the MARS and we are all certainly very excited here! Merry Christmas Everyone! Bo

Last weekend the Trackers also had a display up in the Manassas Candy Factory with this years layout being an over under design with a grade of 2%. This show also made use of two of four new wide radius corners that the club is having made. The bottom photo shows the them playing well with the clubs current corners.

This is our Polar Express layout around the Christmas Tree...Father/ Son project. I cant wait until he gets to add what Santa brings...it might be something to go with his PE set...and have Tom Hanks voice?...I've given away too much already! Merry Christmas everyone!!
On my way to the club I spotted a rail grinder being prepped off the freeway. I was allowed to get near enough to take a photo. The foreman said I was the first person he's encountered who knew what the thing was. Last time I saw one of these, it was working the Fullerton Sub and putting on a light show.
And now for the latest "ironic scenes" on the club layout. One of our members owns a couple of McDonald's franchises, so of course another one of our members decided to deploy his version of a "Mac Attack". The ambulance is a NEO/American Excellence resin die cast with etched details and added lighting. He's planning to add a pair of ambulance chasers fighting over who gets the case. Stay tuned.

Thank you! It was fun to set up.
Is it okay if I post some On30 in here? My On30 modular club was set up at the Greenberg show in Richmond, VA. We had a 20' long point to point railroad.
My youngest helped run trains today (Sunday).
