Does anyone have a source for Lionel Standard gauge 318? Now that Model Engineering Works is gone I need a source.

Check with Hennings. I believe they are gearing up to produce reproduction wheels.
Just checked their website and they don't have wheels for 318. Lots of others but not 318. Has MTH made a 318? Maybe they have spares?

ALL the electric type bodied Lionel engines - 8, 9, 10, 318, 380, 381, 402 & 408 used the SAME wheels.

The MEW wheels for Lionel std. electrics will be back in production hopefully by the end of the year, followed by Lionel steam, AF std.electrics, Ives std. electrics and then AF 'O' wheels. New molds will be needed for the Ives "O". About 50% of the original 'trim line' for these items will also be available.
