WILL PS 3.0 LOCKED INTO DIRECTION OVERRIDE THE PASSENGER STATION ANNOUNCEMENTS SEQUENCE?

I have my trains packed away until the next show and I want to double head two engines back to back locked into direction in conventional operation and I was wondering if that function automatically prevents the PSA announcements from activating conventionally(1 bell with 2 whistles)?
