ALLENTOWN'S First Frost Meet/OGR Forum Breakfast

Count me in.

Well...unfortunately, I accidentally allowed my wife to schedule a date with an overpaid and over-rated giant mouse that weekend.  Don't get me wrong, I'm going to have a FANTASTIC time...

I'll miss you guys and the ensuing "froo froo panckaes" discussions....

What time do you guys meet over there? We are setting up as far as the layout goes, but may be able to sneak over!

Chris we meet early at 6:30.  This gives the guys alot of time to get back.  Chuck gets us non-setteruppers tickets to get in early at 8am

This show is always great.....and breakfast is a blast.....I’ve been able to make it twice and hope to again sometime soon.

We miss you at the breakfast as well, next time you can just stay over for a couple of weeks past York and come to Allentown, saves the extra airfare!

After doing some research, I found that this is the 20th anniversary of Stink Bugs landing in the USA by way of Allentown in the Fall of 1998. I suggest an image of a Stink Bug appear on our table name cards to honor Allentown's place in US history. This also may explain why the scrapple here has a unique odor.

Can't guaranty stink bugs, but we might mount a few spotted lantern flies on the tables. They are so friggn' pretty.

Sad, but true. My guess is the tree farms will be very diligent about this. Plus, there are some precautions you can take. Also, the 'eggs' on the bark will not be hatching until long after your tree is gone.

I can relate -  at QS&L at York I learned the hard way why Erol was sitting on the other side of restaurant until after dinner.    The joy the experience brings to everyone's faces far outweighs the monetary expense!
