Photos from yesterday's Rail Group operating session. My sessions are three hours in length, which covers 9 fast clock hours. This was my 38th session since I restarted operating sessions in July, 2016.
Extra 4001 West departs McDaniel Yard in Worley ID after dropping off Worley cars and filling out with westward cars heading to DeBraal Yard in South Spokane.
This photo was shot from the roof of the Worley roundhouse as Extra 4001 West departs past the west end yard tower.
About four hours later on the west end of the railroad, Extra 263B East, with consist 263B as the lead unit, and 263A trailing, has just turned on his headlight, and is getting ready to depart DeBraal Yard in South Spokane, WA from Arrival / Depart track #1. On A/D track #2, an ALCo S-2 is pulling the consist from Extra 4001 West and is getting ready to classify the cars for further westward movement.
Just before session 38 wrapped up, Extra 5507 West is seen departing Worley, heading for an ordered meet with two freights in Bessemer, ID, Extra 5053 East, and Extra 263B East.
The two trains meeting Extra 5507 West received this order at the town before Bessemer ID, at Noname ID (that is pronounced NO-Nom-E)
Here is Extra 5053 East as it passes the Bessemer depot.
About 15 minutes later, Extra 263B East creeps up close to the waycar on Extra 5053 East, as they wait for Extra 5507 to arrive on the siding.
11 crew members participated in the session. I railfanned.

Jerry
