Nice!!!!!!!! Will take that over a 2016 corvette stingray any day.
Thank god its Friday!!!!!!! Here are some of my other plunder this month. The big one came from forum member bluelinec4. MTH Premier GN SD45 One from the Bay #411. He made the connection to OGR, contacted me offline, and was good enough to offer up #400. #411 was great #400 made my day. Now I am just waiting for my order from Shapways to come in so I can install Kadees.
Second find was a CMMC 50' Box Car. Didn't think twice when this popped up. Needs work but plug/standard door combination hard to find.
Finally a Lionel CB&Q Extended Vision Waycar. This was my consolation prize as I lost track of time Sunday and failed to get a final bid in before the auction closed ( Was out bidded twice )on a Sunset CB&Q wood waycar. Ok way cool for me.
Details for my mine shafthouse came in....horizontal steam engine, to power a single spool mine hoise and lift a mine hoist cage. Those three items are the first to arrive of several over due. Waiting on a steam tractor to see which I like better to power this hoist.

Bet this would be great on Scrapple.....
Hit several hobby shops today, and got two sets of woodland scenics figures, a bound 1943 set of model craftsman magazine, and a book on hawaiian railroad action during ww2 that I've wanted for a very long time.

Tim,
Very nice!!! It is great when a father and son share the same interests. I would have loved to share model trains with my dad or daughters, but my dad would have loved it if my brother or I stuck with fly fishing!! He has been great about encouraging our own interests, and I have done the same with our daughters.

I try to be. I usually don't get all these cool toys on my birthday. However; they decided to spoil me this year!
Psst...they may not want to admit it but thy want to run them too.
Snagged this little guy today, I just liked the colors. The start of my "crayon box" 200 series freight consist.
Picked up the Southern E8 #6900 Saturday. It makes a companion unit to the other two since they are all contemporary running units. Two here at the NCTM the N&W has been a visitor here also.

Not railroad related, but i scored this off ebay for less than 20 bucks with shipping.
It's from the county I was born in, for the timeframe I was born (at the end of November, 1969).
On my way home from the hospital as an infant, I could have been driven past the very car that had this plate for all I know.
And yes, I know this makes some of you feel old...
My husband Tom and I have lived our entire lives in California, so I picked up both the green and the brown repro Lionel CALIFORNIA passenger cars from the State Sets. These will run behind my pink/red 408E.
I love prevailing wage jobs buy toys and still have money in the savings lol. Granted I have not seen most the things I got yet but here is a few items I got.

I had posted this one pic on the what did you do on the layout page but also decided to post this here seeing it's new. I just got this today from the CTTA, a Canadian club. It is one of their offerings and I like Canadian road names. This is actually the first time I have bought a 36' reefer. Here is a pic..........Paul
River City 3 Railers has now upgraded to a brand new 8.5x24' trailer. Just picked it up today. Pretty cool in my book.
Got these on Friday. Had been looking for this Buffalo Creek Graphics Genesee beer three car set for quite awhile. Here is a pic.........Paul
Bought this little conductor guy with his lantern for the layout, his arms swing!
And this curvaceous new Barclay "chanteuse" (will be repainted as moi), along with five other new Barclay ladies. More gents will be added soon...
Hi all, I am new to this forum and looking forward to learn a lot. Great photos. I recently ordered a Bachmann Thoroughbred and I am waiting for it to arrive

AnnetteRatley, welcome to the forum. You will find a good deal of good information on this forum. And if you do not see what information you need just ask the question and you will get an answer..............Paul
I call this "attic fresh" it looks like the motors have not been touched, still had the original tape to hold the wiring down. Cosmetically the body is rough but thats ok with me I'm the same age. Of course the old Eveready is toast but the e-unit sequences just fine and it runs smooth for being 62 years old. I'm kinda reluctant to clean it up and loose its history.
franktrain
Franktrain, I had one come through for repair where the battery looked way worse than that and I brought her back to life with a few parts and a little elbow grease
My latest addition: The PRR B-28. It will be featured in my next upload, Steam Pusher Service
Very nice Peter!!
