From the good folks at TCA:

We are pleased to announce a first for The Great York Train Meet; we will be featuring 5 All-Star Operating Train Layouts for our members to enjoy with their spouse, children, and guests.

The WHITE HALL will feature 2 layouts presented by:

1.  The Kids Run Trains Club from Chesapeake, VA. A 22 x 50 foot "O" gauge layout run totally by kids!

2.  The Washington & Old Dominion "S" Gaugers from Warrenton, VA. This is a 26 x 45  foot "S" gauge layout.

The BLACK HALL will feature 2 layouts presented by:

1.  The North Penn Modular "S" Gauge Train Club from Landsdale, PA. This is a 26 x 30 foot "S" gauge layout.

2.  The Lower Susquehanna Valley Modular Railroaders from Lancaster, PA. This is a 30 x 45 foot "O" gauge layout.

And New to the PURPLE HALL, the following layout will be presented by:

 1.  Lebanon Valley Railroad Club from Lebanon, PA. This is a 30 x 30 foot layout with "N" & "HO" & "O" & "Standard Gauge" trains running.

I agree its a mixed message. Photo taking was allowed last fall in the White hall of the layout. The Purple Hall is a dealer hall so pics are OK anywhere there.

Agree that its a mixed message, but I prefer to view it positively and am glad that they will have the layouts.

However, it would be REALLY GREAT if they would increase the widths of the aisles in some of the halls. Truth is, that I now avoid some of the non-dealer halls because once you get in them, you get stuck. I applaud the fact that people who need the motorized carts come to York. I think its great that they do it. But that does make it difficult to get through the aisles and if there's more space available, I would love to see wider aisles.
