I am posting this as I mentioned in another topic that E-Z Track has been manufactured 2 different ways. This post is to clarify and also to make it searchable. It was an "off topic" comment in the prior post.
This shows their Alloy Steel Rail. All the Nickel Silver Rail would use method #1 as the Roadbed is Gray while the Track is Brown (wood ties) or Light Gray (concrete ties).
Method #1 is the top 3 examples. The track and the roadbed are separate. Shows Roadbed, Track, Roadbed and Track Combined. BTW they are not intended to be separated, they are glued or heat bonded (welded) at the factory. While Atlas True-Track is similar, the track and roadbed snap together and so can be used as a unit or separately.
Method #2 is just one plastic piece, shown at the bottom. The ties are molded into the Roadbed.
