Had to repair a tether wire. It looked Ok, but ends up only a couple wire strands were intact, the rest broken. Could not carry enough current to run the motor.

My first HO train was the Gilbert Hudson train set with 3 freight cars a caboose and brass track. The box had the 'beveled' sides. Still have the cars but, unfortunately, the engine is gone.
