I don't see any mechanism in the profile settings that matches the old ignore posts list that was on the infopop edition. I looked for some of the alternate designations (friends/enemy, like/dislike) and didn't see that either.

Hoopla does not currently have this feature. It may be added in a future release.
Thanks for the quick response.
My pleasure, sir. Wish I had a better answer for you.
How about getting the member's name(s) in addition to their avatar, posted as the thread initiator? I don't know many posters by face, unless they've had a long standing avatar. That'd go a long way to helping decide what to read, no?
I can't make the names appear, however you can see who the poster is by mousing over his Avatar. The name will show then.
Thanx, Rich. That's cool.
Funny, the coincidence of the emergence of this topic and the re-emergence of kane/vox/omax.
Rich / mark,
I don't know what I'm doing differently, but, names show up underneath each avatar above member. I'm running IE8.

I think they are talking about when you click on a FORUM, the names don't appear on all the threads until you click on a thread. Once you are "in" a thread, you can see all the names displayed under their avatar.
The names appearing on the thread list was handy for those folks who didn't want to even read a thread started by "you know who".
