So we're finally getting Legacy GG-1's again, and that's great. I'm actually surprised they haven't been made more frequently just as regular Legacy models, like maybe every 2-3 years or something, IDK. I want some of the Vision Line releases they made in 2016, but of course they are hard to find and usually cost at least $2,000. So even though I probably won't get any GG-1 they show in the catalog right away, at least having them exist in the first place is a good thing for later in the future. I can hold off on some older items I want because they seem to be common enough that I don't have to worry too much about missing out on them.

I might have mentioned this already, but the other thing I want Lionel to make again are their N5/N5B cabooses, because that's another item that I want that was made only one year so far, and now they are difficult to find, especially the Long Island version.

A relief to me is that there are no new BR-CB&Q items in the new catalog because my wallet needs a break.😄

This is a relief because the last catalog had the following items offered:

BR-C&S 2-8-0, recently delivered

BR-C&S-FW&D E5/E6 ABB set

BR 7 Car 21” Zephyr Set

BR-CB&Q Motorcar

BR-CB&Q 2-4-2

BR-CB&Q Gold Boxcar with FreightSounds

Five of the above items have not yet been delivered.  Looking forward to their release !!!

The new catalog does have the following item of interest to me:

plastic coal loads for 2, 3, & 4 bay hoppers and

a GN Hotbox Reefer car.

Any tender variations on the USRA Mountains?

Yes, many ! (including brass tender)

There are tenders with 4-wheel trucks and some with 6-wheels. There are rounded ones and boxy ones. (Sorry I am not a tender expert so I don't know their precise style names.)

Liveries are Alaska, Santa Fe, Seaboard, NC&STL, New Haven, Southern, Tennessee Central, and Texas & Pacific

No worries, the rounded ones are called Vanderbilt tenders. I'm curious if the New Haven version has the Vanderbilt tender, if so I'm in!
