I am still in math class so I have not fully absorbed the catalog yet, but I am defiantly getting an ALP-46. I have been searching for one for so long. I love you Mike Wolf!!!!!!!!

CP Holiday train and the North Star Commuter train
The CP Holiday Train is a must have for me too. There are quite a few others that I'm on the fence about. I feel like I'm in math class trying to figure out what to do.
Metra EMD E-8 - this was a surprise to see.

Pretty cool the CP is Premier!
Nothing. The RTR catalog got me, however.
Probably a Phase II Amtrak E-8. Been looking for one of those for a while. Nice that its just singles too... it'll go fine with the 4 Phase Is I have already.
Cp holiday train is a must
Finally a release of a 6-car boxcar set of 1940s Union pacific cars (2 of them!). Now it's actually possible to build a long freight train for Big Boys and Challengers quickly instead of piecemeal!
Thanks MTH!
A second job....vol. 1 only had rolling stock that I wanted... vol. 2 is all motive power! Happy to see a bunch of the things I like, but now I need to narrow it down a bit!
NOTHING, same old steam engines done many times before. No rolling stock that interest me.
The 425 Reading & Northern.
THE NORTHSTAR BOMBARIDER CARS!!!!!!!!
READING AND NORTHERN 425!!
Probably the GP60s, it was a nice Catalog widely diverse in what you wanted it was in there.
Finally! Pittsburgh AND Ohio Central!
READING & NORTHERN 425!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like the Conrail sw9! I remembr seeing it just out of the shop at the Conrail Railfest in Altoona, PA back in 1987!
I am on the fence of the CP Rail Holiday train. I wonder how realistic is the model?
Does MTH have something against The New York New Haven and Hartford?
Maybe someday they will offer the add on tender for the Reading & Northern 425?

I do not think so. They have a steam switcher and an Alco. Past catalogs have had many NH items. What are you wishing they made? I am a NH fan, too.
Nice catalog with a wide variety. Really happy to see all of the commuter rail offerings!!!
FINALLY, TRI RAIL ENGINE AND CARS.
I will be buying a few NJ Transit Engines.
As a Railking budget guy, I like the scale Dash8.
I may be in for the NJT F40PH. Definitely getting the NJT caboose
Now, it is lunch and I have more time to look through the catalog. Here is a list of what I like, but I will probably on get half or less of this:
CSX MP15
NJT SW1500
Conrail Express SW9
NS Light-Up Dash9
Red Arrow PCC Street Car
Reading and Northern 425
NJT F40
Amtrak Veterans F40
NS AC44DCM 4002
CP Holiday Train
CSX SD70ACE
CSX AC6000
CSX GP40
NJT GP40
NJT ALP-46
NJT Commuter 2 pack (I already have 4)
Reading and Northern Heavyweights
Yep, really nice catalog. I cant wait for this stuff to finally come out!
The K-4s.
There is a Watkins Salt hopper that interests me,sort of.
Window mint cars? I'll pass on those.
Norm
I can't wait to see how many people will argue that the R&N 425's headlight should be in the center and not on top of the boiler.
The NYC Pacific and B&O President Washington look tempting though, as does the CP Holiday Train.
Complete zero for me. Thanks Rich Foster, you saved me a lot of money again.
Art
Premier Line:
Union Pacific Big Boy 4014? (from either 2015 or 2017, depending on which one I find)
Southern Pacific Lines GS-4 4449? (hopefully the Daylight ones have black drivers)
Reading & Northern 425 (It will need a center headlight with a shade and the bell up front)
NJT F40PH
Norfolk Southern AC4400CWs
Canadian Pacific Holiday Train
Santa Fe GP60M 108
BNSF Warbonnet GP60M 101
NJT GP40
Norfolk Southern GP40s
Reading & Northern Passenger Cars (I guess the Combine & Baggage cars should be replaced with regular coaches instead)
Southern Pipe Gondola
NS Veterans Tank Car
And Possibly:
CSX Old Paint AC6000
CSX New Paint AC6000
UP Flag AC6000
Metrolink F40PH
Reading & Northern Tank Car
Metrolink Bombardier coaches
Frisco or MKT Passenger cars?
Definitely the western Maryland VO1000.
Maybe the Conrail Express SW. The real one is still running on Delmarva (where I live).
The Premier CP Holiday train and the RBM&N 425 interest me.
This catalog to me was a disappointment. I was hoping to see the steaming whistle on more engines outside of the Bigboys...Lionel is killing MTH, quite literally, in all of the "bells and whistles".
Step it up MTH!
Why can't they put scale wheels and fixed pilots on their E8s?
MP15ACs, AC6000s, etc....
Sigh, my ten year dream of Kodachrome units continues to go unfilled.
Engineer-Joe posted:Why can't they put scale wheels on their E8s?
Maybe because those models have not yet been "re-tooled"?
I haven't decided yet. The Royal Blue B&O pacific has my interest but so does the Chicago and Alton. Can't decide haha. Although my Lehigh Valley Forty-Niner has just arrived so no pre-ordering for me.
Dmasso, wouldn't you love an I 5 streamline Hudson, or either a class J Mikado or Class L 2-10-2.
Nothing.
